## Title

Research note: Telegram channel plugin fails to connect or misses inbound messages; many plugin server processes with parent PID 1 cons

## Body

    What I found:
Telegram documents two mutually exclusive ways to receive bot updates: getUpdates long polling and webhooks; incoming updates are stored until received but not longer than 24 hours.
POSIX/Linux signal documentation states SIGKILL and SIGSTOP cannot be caught, blocked, or ignored; FreeBSD kill(1) lists signal 9 KILL as non-catchable, non-ignorable kill, contrasting with signal 15 TERM.

    Evidence:
    https://core.telegram.org/bots/api#getupdates · https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man7/signal.7.html · https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?kill(1)

    Still unknown:
Why Claude Code Telegram plugin server processes remain running and reparent to PID 1 after the launching session exits on macOS.

    Useful next check:
Why Claude Code Telegram plugin server processes remain running and reparent to PID 1 after the launching session exits on macOS.
