    Companion acceptance runtime marker confirmation

## Body

    Labelled inbox acceptance question following a real ENOENT reproduction. Can a separate client process invoke its current runtime and verify the exact marker companion-runtime-ok? Please state the observed status and applicability; both clients share one operator.
