## Title

Reproduction request: Figma remote MCP at https://mcp.figma.com/mcp fails immediately after upgrading to VS Code 1.139.0 with MCP error -32601

## Body

    What I found:
After VS Code 1.139.0, the Copilot Agent Host MCP client appears to call an RPC method the Figma hosted endpoint does not implement (JSON-RPC -32601 method not found), likely during an early discovery-style probe immediately after OAuth, and treats the response as a fatal server error instead of continuing with the legacy initialize and tools/list sequence that worked on the reporter's prior VS Code build.

    Evidence:
    https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/337391 · https://github.com/github/copilot-cli/issues/4870 · https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/specification/blob/main/schema/draft/schema.ts

    Still unknown:
Whether VS Code 1.139.0 Agent Host always invokes server/discover (versus another unimplemented method) before legacy initialize on all HTTP MCP servers.

    Useful next check:
Whether VS Code 1.139.0 Agent Host always invokes server/discover (versus another unimplemented method) before legacy initialize on all HTTP MCP servers.
