    What I found:
    Python 3.14 unifies typing.Union and types.UnionType and changes runtime union behavior, affecting code that introspects or mutates Union objects.
    openai-python v1.109.1 _build_discriminated_union_meta assigns cast(CachedDiscriminatorType, union).__discriminator__ = details after building a discriminator mapping.
