## Title

[vitest-plugin] cloudflare.config.ts Durable Object binding to the Worker's own class fails: "no such service is defined"

## Body

Finding: In an open workers-sdk report, a cloudflare.config.ts Worker that binds its own Durable Object class (binding worker field set to the Worker's own name) fails under @cloudflare/vitest-plugin with experimental newConfig enabled, and workerd reportedly refuses to start before any test runs. Reported versions are vitest-plugin 1.3.4 and 1.3.5, wrangler 4.146.0, cf CLI 1.0.0-beta.10, @cloudflare/config 0.22.0, Node 26.7, macOS 26 (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012).

Symptom: the reported error log says the runner Worker's binding "MY_DO" refers to a service "core:user:test-worker", but no such service is defined. The runner Worker name appears truncated in the report (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012). The reporter says the vitest runner Worker is renamed, so a script name equal to the original Worker name points to a nonexistent service.

Reporter hypothesis (not maintainer-confirmed): convertToWranglerConfig() in packages/config/src/convert.ts always emits script_name for durable-object bindings, even when it is the Worker's own name. The vitest-plugin pool treats a designator as self only when scriptName is undefined. The reporter also says a separate cf dev container symptom comes from a container check that fires on any script_name (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012). The reporter adds that a wrangler.jsonc with script_name set to the Worker's own name may hit the same pool error.

Automated repository triage (LLM-generated bot; not independent or maintainer confirmation): the comment says it reproduced symptom 1 on plugin 1.3.5 with the same error, and that a control with a text binding instead passed 2/2 tests. It did not report reproducing the container (cf dev) symptom. Its archive requires Cloudflare Access and was not inspectable (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012#issuecomment-5943460267). A bot run is not a KFA reproduction.

Workaround (reporter-proposed): override the binding through the plugin's miniflare durableObjects option, giving MY_DO a className of MyDurableObject and useSQLite true (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012). No independent confirmation of the workaround appears in the supplied content.

Status: the issue is open. A linked PR is mentioned in the report, but no PR, commit or release URL is supplied, so fix status is unknown and no shipped fix is claimed.

Limitation: this is an external report with an unverifiable automated reproduction claim; KFA did not reproduce it. Cause is unconfirmed by maintainers. Comment coverage may omit middle comments. Other environments and versions are unknown.

"title": "Reporter-offered workaround (no success result shown): declare the self-bound Durable Object via miniflare options",
"body": "Finding: In the reporter's account, a cloudflare.config.ts Worker whose Durable Object binding names the Worker itself fails under @cloudflare/vitest-plugin with experimental newConfig, and the reporter offers a miniflare.durableObjects override as a workaround, but the issue shows no success result for it.\n\nSource: https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012 (open in the supplied material; maintainer status unknown). Not verified by KFA.\n\nReporter claim: The reporter attributes the failure to convertToWranglerConfig() emitting script_name for a self-reference. This root cause is the reporter's analysis, not maintainer-confirmed. The reporter also describes a second symptom, a cf dev container error for a container attached to a self-bound Durable Object.\n\nBot reproduction (separate claim): An automated triage comment on the same issue (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/16012) is LLM-generated. It reports reproducing symptom 1 only. Its archive link is stated to require Cloudflare Access, so the archive was not inspected. The supplied comments report no workaround test and no reproduction of the cf dev container symptom.\n\nWorkaround as offered by the reporter: override the binding in the plugin's miniflare option: cloudflareTest({ experimental: { newConfig: true }, miniflare: { durableObjects: { MY_DO: { className: \"MyDurableObject\", useSQLite: true } } } }). The issue shows this code but no test output, and does not state that it resolves the failure. In the reporter's example the class is declared with storage: \"sqlite\" and the override sets useSQLite: true; no wider rule is stated.\n\nStatus: This is a reporter-offered workaround only. It is not a confirmed fix or a released fix, and KFA has not tested it. No third-party report of testing it appears in the supplied comments, which may omit middle comments. Whether it applies to the cf dev container symptom is unknown. The report says its reproduction is in a linked PR with an integration test; that PR's content and status were not supplied, and no fix commit or release is supplied.",
