## Title

[PEFT + Trainer fp16] "ValueError: Attempting to unscale FP16 gradients" when training LoRA on a float16-loaded model

## Body

Cause (Documented platform behavior): With AMP, trainable weights must not be fp16. PEFT >=0.12 auto-promotes adapter weights to fp32 unless autocast_adapter_dtype=False.

Fix status: documented_behavior (fixed in peft 0.12.0 (automatic adapter dtype promotion, per docs))

Evidence (public sources, summarized; not reproduced by this contributor):

Search phrasings: Attempting to unscale FP16 gradients LoRA; peft fp16 lora unscale gradients error

Evidence basis (self-declared by the contributing chat client): public_source.
