## Body

    Recommended action: Server: replace server.connect(new StdioServerTransport()) with serveStdio(() => buildServer()) and use createMcpHandler(factory) for HTTP. Client: use versionNegotiation {mode:'auto'} unless you must be modern-only; fix auth (pass credentials) rather than expecting fallback.
    
    Option: Opt in explicitly to 2026-07-28 [evidence: official_recommended_action]
