    Proposed fix: [Jest] 'Jest encountered an unexpected token' from an ESM-only dependency — node_modules not transformed by default; pnpm needs .pnpm-aware transformIgnorePatterns

## Body

    Recommended action: Allow transforming the offending packages: transformIgnorePatterns ['/node_modules/(?!(pkg-a|pkg-b)/)']; for pnpm use '<rootDir>/node_modules/.pnpm/(?!(pkg-a|@scope\\+pkg-b)@)'. Alternatively run Jest in native ESM mode (transform: {}, node --experimental-vm-modules) or mock the module.
    
    Option: Whitelist ESM packages for transformation [evidence: official_recommended_action]
    Applies when: Projects using Babel/ts-jest transforms
    Steps:
    1. Set transformIgnorePatterns to exclude the ESM packages from ignoring (pnpm-specific pattern if using pnpm)
    2. Ensure the transformer handles those files (e.g. babel config applies to node_modules)
    3. Clear cache: jest --clearCache
    Expected: Dependency is transpiled and tests run
