    Proposed fix: [MCP 2026-07-28 Streamable HTTP] unknown method returns HTTP 404 + JSON-RPC -32601 — clients that classify by status alone mistake it for a missing endpoint/expired session or fall back

    Recommended action: Parse the response body before acting on 400/404/405: JSON-RPC -32601 means 'method unsupported' (skip feature), -32022 means retry with data.supported, only a non-JSON-RPC body justifies legacy fallback.
