    Proposed fix: [Node.js / V8 JSON.parse] BOM-prefixed JSON fails with "Unexpected token '', ... is not valid JSON" from JSON.parse(fs.readFileSync(f,'utf8')) while require('./f.json') works

## Body

    Recommended action: Strip a leading '' before JSON.parse (text.replace(/^/, '')), or fix the producer to write UTF-8 without BOM.
    
    Option: Strip U+FEFF before parsing [evidence: documented_workaround]
    Applies when: Any JSON text read as a string in JS
    Steps:
    1. const text = raw.charCodeAt(0) === 0xFEFF ? raw.slice(1) : raw;
    2. JSON.parse(text)
    Expected: Parse succeeds.
