    Recommended action: Follow the v10 migration guide: import ServerlessSpec/Index/PineconeConfig from top-level pinecone; use pc.indexes.create(schema=..., deployment=...) or the 9.x shim pc.create_index with only legacy keywords; use deployment={"replicas":..,"pod_type":..} and read_capacity= in configure.
    
    Option: Port index management to schema=/deployment= and top-level imports [evidence: official_recommended_action]
    Applies when: 9.x -> 10.x upgrades
