## Body

    Recommended action: Upgrade Jinja2 to 3.x (and Flask to 2.x); if the old stack must stay, pin markupsafe==2.0.1.

    Applies when: MarkupSafe>=2.1.0 (2022-02-17) with Jinja2 2.x
    Steps:
    1. pip install -U 'jinja2>=3'
    2. or pin 'markupsafe==2.0.1' for Jinja2 2.x stacks
    3. replace soft_unicode with soft_str in own code
    Expected: Import/call succeeds on the new version
