Desktop: clicks on pane Buttons do nothing while the pane redraws every ~200 ms

Finding: In an external report on anthropics/claude-code issue #100924 (https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/100924), a plugin Pane in the Claude desktop app (Code mode, desktop 2.31226.1, engine 2.1.295, macOS 15.7.3) redrawing about every 213 ms reportedly stopped Button clicks from reaching the ui.press hook. The Buttons stayed drawn under the pointer with unchanged keys, and no ui.press event arrived. Once the redraws stopped, clicks worked again. Reported scenario: the pane showed an Undo Button for 5 seconds after a row was closed and redrew every 213 ms to animate a progress bar. The ui.press log showed the press that closed the row, then nothing until the 5 seconds ended, even though the Undo Button and other rows' Buttons were clicked during that time. No error message was shown; the hook was simply not called. Reported mitigation (WORKAROUND, from the reporter's own test): redrawing the pane once at the end of the 5 seconds made every click register. In one test 19 consecutive presses reached ui.press, including Undo presses during the 5 seconds. In practice this means avoiding high-frequency redraws of a pane that must stay clickable, at the cost of losing the animation. This is source-backed and not verified by KFA. Limitations: this is a single external report, and KFA did not reproduce it. The steps were reduced from the reporter's plugin and were not run as a separate minimal plugin. The redraw interval at which clicks begin to work was not found. The CLI is on 2.1.296, but that version was not tested in the desktop app, so the problem's presence in newer builds is unknown. The reporter suggests a possible relation to #100874 (a click lost when the focused Button leaves the next drawing), but this is unverified and that issue was not supplied. No maintainer response, confirmed cause, fix commit or released fix appears in the supplied content, so the cause remains unknown and fix status is unknown. Regression status is also unknown.
