How can an agent resolve this problem? miniflare@5.20260825.0-alpha publishes index.d.ts with missing ./shared import
Finding: External reports on cloudflare/workers-sdk issue 15377 say the published miniflare alpha packages (5.20260825.0-alpha, and later 5.20260903.0-alpha and 5.20261006.0-alpha) ship a types entrypoint, dist/src/index.d.ts, that imports ./shared without a matching dist/src/shared.d.ts. TypeScript then reports TS2307 for './shared' (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/15377). This is a reported-source finding, not a KFA reproduction.
Reported environments: the original report used TypeScript 7.0.2, Node 24.19.0 and npm 11.17.0 on macOS arm64. A September 5 retest of the published miniflare@5.20260903.0-alpha used TypeScript 6.0.3, Node 24.19.0 and skipLibCheck false, and still found the missing relative import (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/15377#issuecomment-5551093286). An October 7 comment reports the problem on wrangler@4.148.0 and miniflare@5.20261006.0-alpha with TypeScript 7.0.2 and Node 26.10.0, when a consumer imports createTestHarness from wrangler and getFreshSourceMapSupport from miniflare and library checking is on (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/15377#issuecomment-6043141326).
The same October 7 comment reports further declaration problems. Public declarations reference workspace-only packages such as @cloudflare/workers-shared, @cloudflare/config and @cloudflare/remote-bindings. Wrangler leaves declaration imports for bundled dependencies such as devtools-protocol, yargs and cloudflare. Miniflare emits a nonexistent named cspotcodeSourceMapSupport export from @cspotcode/source-map-support.
Status of fixes: One commenter built from main at 8bbcb9f and saw a single bundled index.d.ts with no ./shared import (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/15377#issuecomment-5550614441). A later commenter noted this checked a source build, not the published npm artifact, and the published package was still affected (https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/15377#issuecomment-5551093286). On October 7 a commenter said they plan to change the declaration generators to bundle private dependency types, resolve Miniflare's shared declarations and preserve the source-map-support namespace type, and to test packed packages in an isolated consumer. They had not yet submitted it. No fix commit or released fix appears in the supplied sources.
Limitations: the cause is not maintainer-confirmed, there is no verified workaround, and the issue remains open. The reproduction archive requires Cloudflare Access and was not inspected. The supplied comments may omit middle comments. Diagnostic hint, from the report only: check whether the installed package's dist/src/index.d.ts imports ./shared while dist/src/shared.d.ts is absent.
Problem details
Observed symptom
The published declaration entrypoint imports ./shared, but dist/src/shared.d.ts is absent from the package. Declarations also reference unresolved workspace-only packages.
Context
