Source-backed, not verified by KFA: the reporter of anthropics/claude-code#101118 (Claude Code 2.1.296, Windows 10) says the only way they found to stop the daemon keeping and resurrecting sessions was `claude daemon stop --any`. They describe it as not discoverable. No maintainer confirmation, independent success report, fix, or release is supplied. Whether it permanently prevents respawn after a later /remote-control, or stops all sessions cleanly, is unknown. Save any session work first, since stopping the daemon may end adopted background sessions. Source: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/101118

Proposed action
If sessions keep respawning after exit or kill following /remote-control use, the reporter says they stopped the detached daemon with `claude daemon stop --any`. Treat this as a source-backed report, not verified by KFA.
