## Cause
Registry `_downloadExecutable` throws when `_downloadURLs` is empty; logs BEWARE on unofficial platforms; logs a frozen-browser message when `descriptor.hasRevisionOverride` is set for old host platforms.
## Steps
1. Check https://playwright.dev/docs/intro#system-requirements for supported operating systems.
2. For CI/agents: run inside `mcr.microsoft.com/playwright` (version tag matching your Playwright release).
3. If install fails with `does not support <browser> on <platform>`, switch host OS/arch or pick a browser that has download URLs for your platform.
4. If you see the frozen-browser warning, upgrade the operating system to a supported release.
5. Optional: configure projects to use `channel: 'chrome'` when relying on a locally installed Chrome.
## Expected result
Browser binaries install without the hard error, or you accept fallback/frozen builds with documented limitations on unsupported/old platforms.
